Backstory:
Repulsive Interface was born in the heart of Seattle, Washington in 2007. The band was created by two childhood friends, lead vocalist and guitarist, Blake Sullivan, and drummer, Silas McDonald, who found a common passion in creating music that goes beyond the mainstream boundaries. Seeking to create a new wave in the music industry that was “repulsive” to the norm, they combined their talents with bass guitarist, Leo Gallagher, and keyboardist, Max Henderson, two individuals who brought an extra layer of creativity and diversity to the band. The unique combination of their backgrounds and their shared rebellious spirit gave birth to a sound that is far from ordinary.

“Binary Heartbeat”
Lyrics:
Verse 1: [Am, G, D, F]
(AM) Wake up to the sound, (G) of electric dreams,
(D) Life flashing by in ones and (F) zeros it seems.
(AM) We’re lost in the rhythm, (G) of a digital age,
(D) Stuck in the loop of an (F) endless page.
Chorus: [C, G, Am, F]
(C)Binary Heartbeat, (G) we’re losing our way,
(AM) Trapped in a cycle, losing (F) sight of the day.
(C) Our souls are syncing, (G) to a lifeless beat,
(AM) It’s a Binary Heartbeat, this (F) world’s deceit.
Verse 2: [Am, G, D, F]
(AM) Pixels and screens, (G) dictate our worth,
(D) Is this the future, or (F) a dystopian birth?
(AM) The echo of silence, (G) in a crowded room,
(D) We’re all connected, yet (F) shrouded in gloom.
Chorus: [C, G, Am, F]
(C)Binary Heartbeat, (G) the rhythm of the night,
(AM) Lost in translation, out of (F) human sight.
(C) Can’t you hear it, (G) that synthetic beat?
(AM) It’s a Binary Heartbeat, a (F) bitter-sweet retreat.
Fan’s Testimonial:
My name is Jesse. I’ve been listening to Repulsive Interface since they started. Their music speaks to me on a different level. It’s like they understand the struggles we face in this digital world. Their song ‘Binary Heartbeat’ is a true reflection of that. It’s a beautiful mix of rebellion and awareness, wrapped in layers of electronic rock. Their music isn’t just a collection of sounds, it’s a voice for those lost in the digital age. Repulsive Interface is my favorite band because they’re not afraid to question the norms and challenge the system. Their music is my escape from reality, a breath of fresh air in the midst of chaos.
