Quirky Rain

Backstory:

Quirky Rain started out in the vibrant city of Seattle, where they found solace in music during the city’s infamous rainy days. The three members, lead vocalist and guitarist Lily, bassist Noah, and drummer Max, originally met at the Seattle Art Institute where they were studying various forms of arts. United by their shared love of rhythm, melody, and creativity, they started jamming in their shabby fourth-floor apartment and playing at local gigs. The band’s name was inspired by the eccentric and often unpredictable weather of their home city, which reflected their unique blend of music.

Genre:
Quirky Rain’s music is best described as a fusion of Indie Rock intertwined with a touch of Blues. Their lyrics are poignant, filled with themes of love, loss, resilience, and the rawness of life, which perfectly resonate with their unique sound.

Title:
Their most popular song to date is called “Whispers in the Downpour”.

Song Lyrics:

Verse 1: (Am, F, C, G)
In the quiet of the night, beneath the streetlamp’s glow,
(Am, F, C, G)
I found the echo of your voice, in the rhythm of the snow.
(Dm, Am, Em, G)
With the whispers in the downpour, and shadows on the pane,
(Am, F, C, G)
I traced your laughter in the wind, and drowned in the refrain.

Chorus: (C, G, Am, F)
In the whispers of the downpour, (C, G, Am, F)
I hear your song again,
In the silence of the midnight hour, (C, G, Am, F)
Your melody remains.
In the whispers of the downpour, (C, G, Am, F)
I find you in the rain,
And in this quiet symphony, (C, G, Am, F)
I’ll dance with you again.
