Backstory:
Gripping Territory was formed in the heart of Los Angeles in the late 90s, during the realm of alternative rock, by four high school friends – Josh (Vocals), Max (Guitar), Danny (Bass), and Luke (Drums). All four members grew up in the same neighborhood and shared a common love for raw and grungy sound, which ultimately led them to form a garage band. Over the years, the band developed its unique sound by blending heavy rock with subtle hints of punk and indie.
The band’s breakthrough came in 2005 with their hit single “Grazing in the Dark” which charted on the US Billboard and gained them a cult following. Since then, Gripping Territory has released five albums, each one showing a clear evolution in their sound while still retaining their core vibe. They’ve toured extensively across the US and Europe, gaining fame for their intense live performances and exceptional musicianship.
