Backstory:

Left Detail was formed in the heart of London in 2015, a product of the pulsing underground music scene. Its members – lead singer, Alex Monroe; guitarist, Elliot Reed; bassist, Jackson Taylor; and drummer, Lily Cooper – were all separately engrossed in the bustling life of local gigs and open mics, each looking for something more. By chance, they found each other, bonding over shared love for experimental sounds and unconventional song structures. They decided to come together to create something unique and challenging, music that evoked emotion while pushing the envelope of structure and sound.

The name ‘Left Detail’ was inspired by their collective approach to creating music. They believed in focusing on the often-neglected ‘left-hand side’ details of their songs, the elements that most mainstream artists would overlook or neglect. This approach has led them to create beautifully layered and complex music, earning them a dedicated fan base and recognition in the underground music scene.
