Backstory:
Born in the colorful city of Portland, Oregon, Honest Pop is a group of four friends who wanted to create something that resonated with their shared love for distinctive, soulful, and sincere music. Started in 2015, the band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Sam Jenkins, bassist Lisa White, drummer Noah Foster, and keyboardist Mike Green. The friends met while attending high school together, but it wasn’t until they finished college and returned to Portland that they decided to form a band. They chose the name ‘Honest Pop’ as a testament to their commitment to creating genuine, heartfelt pop music that resonates with people of all ages.
