Backstory:

Zealous Cub originated when a group of high school friends stumbled upon their shared passion for music in an old garage on the streets of Brooklyn, New York. The members, Jesse Marquez (lead vocals/guitar), Oliver Rodriguez (bass), Andrew Kim (drums), and Liam Riley (keyboard), spent their late teenage years exploring different genres and perfecting their unique sound. Introduced by a mutual acquaintance, the quartet manifested a unique synergy that was evident from the very start. Their band name, inspired by a nickname given to the dynamic and fiercely dedicated young drummer, Andrew, quickly became a household name in the local music scene.
