Blank Talk

Backstory:
Blank Talk came to life in the heart of Los Angeles, California, when four college friends decided to convert their passion for music into a shared creative venture. Lead vocalist and songwriter Jesse King, drummer Alex Tucker, bassist Trish Hannigan, and lead guitarist Danny Brooks were all music students at the University of Southern California. Their shared love for soulful lyrics and melodies saw them form Blank Talk in the summer of 2012.

The band started playing at local gigs and college festivals, and their music slowly but surely began to capture the hearts of the local community. Their breakthrough came in 2014 when music producer, Paul Rodriguez, happened to attend one of their performances at a charity event. He was so impressed with their talent that he offered Blank Talk a recording contract on the spot. Since then, Blank Talk has evolved into one of the most iconic bands of their generation.

Title:
“Whispers in the Dark”

Full Song Lyrics:

[Verse]
Em C G D
Sitting alone, under the starlight,
Em C G D
Whispers in the dark, through the cold night,
Em C G D
The silence breaks, with your sweet sigh,
Em C G D
Lost in dreams, under the dark sky.

[Chorus]
Am G D Em
Whispers in the dark,
Am G D Em
A melody that leaves its mark,
Am G D C
Your voice echoes, in my heart,
Am G D Em
Whispers in the dark, we’ll never part.

[Verse]
Em C G D
The moonlight shines, on your face,
Em C G D
In your eyes, I lose my place,
Em C G D
In this silence, we create,
Em C G D
A symphony, that resonates.

[Repeat Chorus]
