“Chasing Shadows”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
Am C G D
Lost in this city, all painted in grey
Underneath lights that never fade
Running from echoes, we can’t seem to shake
In this endless masquerade

Running from the past, hidden from the light
Our hearts like city streets, cold and out of sight
Chasing shadows, till we find the light

Caught in the rhythm of the city’s heart
Chasing dreams that tear us apart
Where every corner holds a new regret
In a city that never forgets

(Chorus)

We’re just chasing shadows, in the dead of night
Running from the past, hidden from the light
Our hearts like city streets, cold and out of sight
Chasing shadows, till we find the light

Em G D C
Till we find the light, till we find the hope
Through the darkest nights, down the steepest slopes
Chasing shadows, till we learn to cope

(Chorus)

We’re just chasing shadows, in the dead of night
Running from the past, hidden from the light
Our hearts like city streets, cold and out of sight
Chasing shadows, till we find the light

Chasing shadows, till we break free
In this city, we’ll find the key.
