Backstory:
Formed in the boisterous heart of Denver in 2003, Grounded Roof was started by four childhood friends who shared a passion for music. Centered around the creative core of Noah Jacobs (vocals/guitar) and Ethan River (bass), the band was rounded out by Sam Sullivan (keyboards) and Jesse Mitchell (drums). The four played together in their parent’s garages throughout high school, until a chance encounter with a producer at a local gig catapulted them into the limelight. The band’s name, Grounded Roof, represents the contrast of their humble beginnings and their lofty dreams, as well as their unique take on the world – grounded, yet always aspiring to reach higher.
