Weird Cottage

Backstory:
Spawned from the sleepy small town of Glenville, Illinois, the quartet known as “Weird Cottage” was formed in 2008 when childhood friends, Andy Thomas (vocals and guitar), Pete Anderson (bass guitar), Charlie Harper (drums), and Samantha Frost (keyboards) decided to channel their shared love for music into a concrete project. The band took their name inspired by an old, eerie-looking cottage on the outskirts of town that the group often visited during their teenage years for inspiration and solitude.

After graduating from high school, the foursome dedicated themselves entirely to music, spending countless hours practicing in the very ‘weird cottage’ that gave them their name. Their unique sound slowly garnered attention, first at local venues and then spreading to the regional music scene. Weird Cottage has managed to maintain their original lineup, attributing their success to their deep-rooted friendship and shared passion for their craft.
