Lopsided Ring

Backstory:

Lopsided Ring was born out of the eclectic and vibrant music scene of Austin, Texas in 2012. The high school friends, lead vocalist and guitarist Max Jenkins, bassist Lucy Reynolds, and drummer Charlie “Chuckles” Mortimer, discovered their shared love for music and started jamming together in their garages. After winning a local talent show, they decided to form a band and Lopsided Ring was born. The band name came from a funny incident where Jenkins’ grandmother’s ring, a family keepsake, got lopsided after Chuckles accidentally sat on it. The band’s music focuses on their personal experiences, struggles, and the essence of growing up in Austin.

Genre:

Lopsided Ring’s music can be best described as Alternative Rock with a hint of Southern Blues.

Testimonial:

Jimmy says, “I fell in love with Lopsided Ring’s music from the moment I first heard them at a local gig. Their sound is raw, their lyrics are real, and their energy is contagious. I feel connected to their music because it’s so grounded in the reality of life in Austin. They don’t just play music; they tell our stories. Seeing them perform is like being part of a community, and that’s why they’re my favorite band.”
