Backstory:
Likable Metre came together in the vibrant music scene of Toronto, Canada in 2012. The band is composed of childhood friends, Charlie Harper (vocals, guitar), Simon Lang (bass), and Alex Drummond (drums). They spent their teenage years obsessing over classic rock records, honing their skills in garage jam sessions, and dreaming of one day making music that would inspire others the way their idols inspired them. After years of playing local gigs and refining their sound, they were discovered by a local radio DJ who helped them land their first major label contract.
In their music, Likable Metre explores themes of love, loss, and the pursuit of dreams. They bring a fresh perspective to these universal experiences, creating a unique blend of relatable lyrics and memorable melodies that resonate with fans around the world.
