Backstory:
Damp Month was born out of a basement jam session in the rainy streets of Seattle, Washington in late November 2009. The founding members, frontman Giles Beckett and drummer Dan Whistle, were university roommates who bonded over their shared love for music that mirrored the city’s moody weather. They later recruited the brilliant talents of bassist Tessa Winn and guitarist Dylan Webster. The group bonded over their shared experiences of navigating life’s storms, both literal and metaphorical, and it was out of this shared ethos that the band name ‘Damp Month’ was coined. Over the years, they have captivated audiences with their raw, emotional performances, and their fan base only continues to grow.
