Backstory:

Sure-Footed Award was formed in the vibrant music scenes of Nashville, Tennessee in 2013. The band was comprised of four friends, Jake Tillman (lead vocalist), Sean Baxter (guitarist), Adrian Meyer (bassist), and Nick Quinn (drummer), who met at a local community college. All shared a profound love for music and a burning desire to create something that would make their mark on the music scene. They started by performing at local bars and open mic nights, gaining a small but dedicated following. Their sound was unique, blending a variety of genres to produce an intricate and distinctive sound.

After a year of performing together, the band caught the attention of a local record producer who saw potential in their distinctive sound. He offered them a record deal, and they released their first album, “Step by Step,” in 2015. The album was a critical success and solidified the band’s reputation as an exciting new talent in the music industry.
