Backstory:
Indolent Apparel was formed in the grungy underbelly of Seattle, Washington in late 2014. The band is composed of four members: lead vocalist and guitarist, Ryan Roberts; drummer, Scott Higgins; bassist, Eddie Turner; and Nicole Fisher on the keyboard. The members came together in a rather unconventional path – they were all former colleagues at a thrift shop. Instead of buying overpriced band merchandise, they opted to wear second-hand band tees from their workplace, thus inspiring their unique moniker, Indolent Apparel.
Their music started as an escape from their mundane day jobs, with meetings held in a small garage after work. Their first performance was an impromptu act at a local charity gig, which created an unexpected buzz in the local music scene. The band was praised for their innovative and raw sound, which prompted them to explore their music on a more professional level.

Title:
“Fragmented Glass”
Song Lyrics:
[Verse 1]
Am (C) G
Wearing my heart on my worn-out sleeve,
D (Em) G
Life painted with colors of fragmented glass,
Am (C) G
In the corners, where the shadows deceive,
D (Em) G
In the echo of the echoes from the past.
[Chorus]
D (Em) G
Fragmented Glass, we’re all just stained,
Am (C) G
Lost in time, in the rain we’ve pained,
D (Em) G
In the reflection, we’re all the same,
Am (C) G
Just Fragmented Glass, in life’s twisted game.
[Verse 2]
Am (C) G
Wearing my scars, like a badge of honor,
D (Em) G
Lines etched deep, on the canvas of my soul,
Am (C) G
Among the stars, where dreams don’t wander,
D (Em) G
In the silence of the silent night, we’re whole.
[Chorus]
D (Em) G
Fragmented Glass, we’re all just stained,
Am (C) G
Lost in time, in the rain we’ve pained,
D (Em) G
In the reflection, we’re all the same,
Am (C) G
Just Fragmented Glass, in life’s twisted game.

Testimonial:
“I was there when Indolent Apparel first stepped on the stage. Their music resonated with me like no other. It’s raw, it’s real, it’s them. Ryan, Scott, Eddie, and Nicole – they wear their hearts on their sleeves. Their song, ‘Fragmented Glass’, it’s like a mirror, reflecting who we all are. Indolent Apparel, for me, is not just a band; it’s a philosophy, a testament to the beauty in our brokenness.” – Marty Hughes.
