Backstory:
When four college friends, who were misfits with odd quirks, decided to form a band, they knew they wouldn’t fit into the conventional music scene. Hence, the name ‘Aggravating Quilt,’ a metaphor for their disparate personalities stitched together to create something unique and beautiful. The band was formed in 2010 with Pete, the lead vocalist and guitarist, Max on the drums, John on the bass, and the fourth member, Sally, was the keyboardist and backing vocalist. Their unique style and approach to music quickly helped them stand out in the indie music scene.
After years of small gigs and trying to make a name for themselves, their big break came in 2015, when they won a local battle of the bands competition. Their unique sound, which combined elements of rock, pop, and folk music, along with some quirky lyrics and a charismatic stage presence, won over the crowd and the judges. Since then, they have been touring around the country, building a strong fan base along the way.
