Backstory:

Weary Noise was born in the gritty heart of the Bronx, New York. The founding members, lead guitarist and vocalist Jake “Grit” Hartley, bassist Spencer “Thump” Trumble, and drummer Annie “Beatbox” Meadows, formed the band in late 2016. They were all working in the same music store, spending their days immersed in their shared passion. They quickly discovered a mutual love for raw, unfiltered music and began jamming after hours. This not only strengthened their bond but also shaped the unique sound that would identify them as Weary Noise. Their first album, ‘Echoes of the Bronx,’ showcased their life experiences and reflected the harsh realities of city life, earning them a devoted fanbase and critical acclaim.

The band’s favorite fan is a barista named Lily who works in a small coffee shop downtown. Lily discovered Weary Noise when they performed at an open-mic night at her café. She fell in love with their gritty sound and honest lyrics. “Their music speaks to me,” Lily writes. “It’s like they’ve turned the noise of the city into a powerful, cathartic melody. It’s raw, it’s real, and it’s beautiful. And that’s why Weary Noise is my favorite band.”
