Backstory:

Wan Receipt was born in the chaotic energy of a bustling diner in the heart of Manhattan. The origin story is a peculiar one, with the four members of the band meeting by chance one fateful evening. They were all separately waiting on the receipt of their meals when a local band on stage started playing out of tune. Each member of Wan Receipt, feeling the music in their veins, got up one by one to correct the band and ended up jamming together for hours. The evening ended with the diner’s owner handing them a single receipt for the joyful disruption they caused, hence the peculiar name, Wan Receipt.

The quartet comprises of lead vocalist and guitarist Johnny “Pick” Ryder, drummer Phil “Sticks” Macintosh, Bassist Benny “Four-strings” Carter, and keyboardist Mandy “Keys” Monroe. Each member’s diverse musical background, ranging from rock to jazz, gives the band an eclectic and distinct sound.
