Backstory:
Born in the depths of the frozen north, Slushy Mouth is the brainchild of a group of friends entranced by the stark beauty of their home in Anchorage, Alaska. Founded in 2007, the four-man band was initially a way for high school friends Jack “Blizzard” Winters, Icy “Frostbite” Powell, Sam “Snowflake” Johnson, and Rob “Avalanche” Williams to escape the harsh winters and bond over a shared love of music. What started as a fun way to pass the long winter nights soon turned into a full-fledged musical endeavor, with the group gaining a local following thanks to their unique sound.
With their popularity growing, the band decided to take a leap of faith. They left their small town for the bright lights of Los Angeles. The transition was rough, but the raw and icy edge of their music began to resonate with the city’s music scene, earning them a record deal and legions of loyal fans who were drawn to their unique sound.
