Backstory:
Talkative Bucket was born in the small town of Creston, North Carolina. Childhood friends and lead musicians, Johnny “Jazz” Eastwood and Benny “Bucket” Coltrane, first started playing together in their parent’s garages after school. The name ‘Talkative Bucket’ was inspired by a rusty old bucket that sat in the corner of Benny’s garage, which they joked about being their first and most loyal listener. They bonded over their shared love of music, particularly, the gritty, raw sounds of Southern rock. Over time, they added more members to their lineup, eventually forming the full five-piece band. They hustled for years, playing in local bars and at county fairs, slowly building a loyal following with their distinct, gritty, and emotive sound.
