Backstory:
Querulous Co. was formed in the vibrant city of Seattle in the autumn of 2008, when four close friends decided to channel their shared love for music into something tangible. Starting off as an underground band, they gradually gained recognition in the local music scene thanks to their unconventional sound and thought-provoking lyrics. Frontman and lead vocalist, Jack Riley, brought a unique blend of husky vocals and poetic lyricism, while the other members- bassist Sean Turner, drummer Mike Carter, and guitarist Tom Holland, added their own musical flairs to create a sound that was distinctively Querulous Co.
The band got their big break in 2010, when a talent scout happened to hear them play at a local dive bar and was blown away by their raw energy and talent. Since then, they’ve released several critically acclaimed albums, toured around the world, and have amassed a dedicated fan base that appreciates their commitment to authenticity in an increasingly manufactured industry.

Title:
“Refugees of Time”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1: Em, D, G, C)
Em D G C
“Running on empty, lost in our minds,
Em D G C
We’re just refugees of time.
Em D G C
In a world that’s spinning too fast,
Em D G C
We’re trying to make each moment last.
(Chorus: Em, C, G, D)
Em C G D
So we sing, in the dead of the night,
Em C G D
Song of the lost, bathed in moonlight.
Em C G D
In the silence, we find our rhyme,
Em C G D
We’re just refugees of time.
(Verse 2: Em, D, G, C)
Em D G C
Chasing shadows, in the falling rain,
Em D G C
We’re searching for a love without pain.
Em D G C
In the chaos, we’re looking for a sign,
Em D G C
We’re just refugees of time.”
