Winged Size originated from the small town of Bexley, Ohio, where four high school friends developed a shared passion for music that led them to form a band. The group includes lead vocalist and guitarist Nate Harris, bassist Jason Bell, drummer Leo Thompson, and keyboardist Grace Ellis. These four friends began practicing in their parents’ basements, playing at local venues, and slowly gaining recognition for their unique sound. Their band name, Winged Size, is derived from a childhood memory of the members finding a larger-than-usual butterfly in their backyard, symbolizing their aspiration to stand out and be different in the world of music.
