Backstory:

Elaborate Zoo was born in the heart of the vibrant city of Austin, Texas, in 2014. The band originally began as a trio of college roommates — Andy Monroe on vocals and guitar, Benny “Bear” Johnson on drums, and Louisa “Lou” Garza on bass — who bonded over their shared love for eclectic music and their knack for storytelling. They started playing small gigs around the city, and before they knew it, word got out about their unique sound and they became a local sensation. After bringing in a talented multi-instrumentalist by the name of Sam “Seven” Stevens, Elaborate Zoo was ready to take their music to the national stage.
