Backstory:

Impressionable Dress got its start back in 2007 in the college town of Lawrence, Kansas. The group was formed by four ambitious music students who found a shared love for the unconventional and a quest for originality in their musical exploration. The name ‘Impressionable Dress’ was inspired by a quirky vintage dress found in a local thrift store which caught their attention for its unique style and bold features, much like their music. The band bonded over late-night jam sessions and their mutual respect for each other’s diverse musical influences, which gave them a distinct sound that set them apart from the regular college bands.

Their first breakthrough came with a local battle of the bands competition, where their eccentric style and unique sound drew the attention of an independent music producer in the audience. From there, Impressionable Dress began their journey into the world of professional music, never forgetting their roots and always striving to create music that was authentic, unique, and impressionable.
