Backstory:
Quick Regulation, formed in the urban heart of Seattle in 2013, is a band deeply rooted in the spirit of rebellion and non-conformity. The group was formed by a quartet of friends; Jason “Quick” Miller, Alex “Regulation” Johnson, Ryan “Rhythm” Richards, and Emily “Echo” Evans, who were all passionate about using music as a voice against authoritarianism. The name ‘Quick Regulation’ was chosen to sarcastically signify the speedy changes in regulations that they felt were stifling creativity and freedom in society.
The band started off by performing in small, underground venues, attracting a following with their bold lyrics and vibrant sound. Their breakthrough came in 2015 when they opened for a more renowned band, ‘Iron Rebellion’. Their performance was so appreciated that they were signed on by a major record label, catapulting them to the national stage. Since then, Quick Regulation has continued to advocate for personal freedoms and societal change through their music.
