4. Full song lyrics:

(Verse 1)
In the hallways of our yesterdays, we found a song to sing,
Laughter echoed down the corridors, a timeless, pure beginning.
In the pages of our textbooks, we discovered worlds unknown,
Turned our dreams into anthems, carved our names in stone.

(Chorus)
Lessons in echoes, we’re learning to fly,
In the face of the unknown, we’ll never say die.
Growing, we’re students of life and its pain,
In the echoes of our lessons, we’ll find our refrain.

(Verse 2)
Chasing shadows in the moonlight, we learned to face our fears,
Tales of love and heartbreak, whispered in our ears.
In every fall and stumble, we found a way to rise,
In the echoes of our lessons, we find our way to the skies.

(Bridge)
We’re growing students, in a world that’s ever-changing,
In the echoes of our lessons, we keep on rearranging.
The chords of life keep strumming, we keep on drumming,
In the echoes of our lessons, our song keeps coming.

(Chorus)
Lessons in echoes, we’re learning to fly,
In the face of the unknown, we’ll never say die.
Growing, we’re students of life and its pain,
In the echoes of our lessons, we’ll find our refrain.

(Outro)
And so we keep on growing, students till the end,
In the echoes of our lessons, we’ll find a friend.
In every note and rhythm, in every joy and pain,

Occasional Ward

1. Occasional Ward, now an iconic name in the alternative rock genre, didn’t start out with such grandiose expectations. Founded in the vibrant city of Seattle in the mid-90s, the band was initially a group of college roommates – Ben Sullivan (guitar & vocals), Sam ‘Sparky’ Hopkins (bass), and Mike ‘Speedy’ Anderson (drums) – who were just looking for a way to channel their creative energy. Their songs initially acted as a form of catharsis, reflecting personal struggles and shared experiences. After their DIY record ‘In the Hallways of Suburbia’ became an unexpected local hit, they were signed by an indie label and their journey to commercial success began. Their gritty sound, raw lyrics, and energy during live performances quickly garnered them a cult following.

3. Song Title: “Chasing Shadows”

4. Full Song Lyrics:

Verse 1:
Runnin’ down these city streets, the echo of my heart beats,
Caught in the crossfire of dreams and reality,
I see your face in every crowd, your voice in every sound,
Lost in the maze of a love that was never meant to be.

Chorus:
Chasing shadows, in the corners of my mind,
Fighting battles, with the ghosts you left behind,
Across the ocean of sorrow, through the desert of despair,
Chasing shadows, in the emptiness of the air.

Verse 2:
Memories, like daggers sharp, carving scars on a broken heart,
A symphony of sighs and whispers, in the silence of the night,
Trapped in the labyrinth of your smile, in the mirage of your lie,
A soul lost in the wilderness, searching for the light.

Bridge:
Oh, I tasted the poison of your kiss, drowned in the abyss,
In the ruins of the love, life feels like a miss,
I fight, I flee, I fall, in the end it’s just me,
With the weight of the world, under the shadow of the old oak tree.

Chorus:
Chasing shadows, in the corners of my mind,
Fighting battles, with the ghosts you left behind,
Across the ocean of sorrow, through the desert of despair,
Chasing shadows, in the emptiness of the air.

Outro:
In the twilight of the dawn, as I walk alone,
I find my solace, in the shadows that I have grown,
Chasing shadows, yes, I’m chasing shadows,
Chasing shadows, until I’m nothing but a shadow of my own.

See the shadows of the sun, they’re growing longer,
Hear the beating of the drum, it’s getting stronger.

[Chorus]
Shadows of the sun, where have you gone?
Left me here alone, to sing my song.
Shadows of the sun, can’t you see?
You’re the only thing, that set me free.

[Verse 2]
In the echo of the night, I heard a whisper,
Telling tales of love and light, and bitter twister.
Fear the shadows of the sun, they’re creeping closer,
Feel the rhythm of the run, as we grow older.

[Chorus]
Shadows of the sun, where do you hide?
Caught in your allure, nowhere to reside.
Shadows of the sun, can’t you be?
The only thing, that lets me see.

[Bridge]
Oh, the shadows, they dance and they sway,
In the silence of the day, they play.
Longing for the light, they yearn,
In the heart of the sun, they burn.

Shadows of the sun, where will you run?
In the heart of the dusk, our love begun.
Shadows of the sun, can’t you feel?
You’re the only thing, that makes this real.

Till my days are all but done.

Left us in darkness, singing our song,
We’re just another heel, trying to belong,
Under your glow, where it all went wrong.

Silent screams in the city of dreams,
Invisible scars, hidden by the gleams,
We wander, we wonder, we drown in streams,
Of thoughts under the shadowed sun’s beams.

The city’s wearing, our dreams abrading,
Under the shadowed sun, we’re trading,
Our hopes for fears, our love for hating.

We’re still standing, we haven’t run,
We are another heel, under your gun,
Fighting the darkness, our battle’s begun.

In every verse, our life’s page.
Playing for the tired, playing for the free,
