Backstory:
Barren Need was born in the rainy town of Aberdeen, Scotland in 2015. The members, lead vocalist and guitarist Alex McLeary, bassist and backing vocals Hazel Burgess, drummer Mick Hardy, and keyboardist Tim O’Malley, were all childhood friends who shared the same passion for music. They began playing in Alex’s garage, practicing every day after school until they developed their distinct sound. Their dedication paid off when their self-produced debut album caught the attention of a prominent talent scout, catapulting them into the limelight.
