Backstory:
Yearly Friend formed in the heart of Austin, Texas in 2013. The group of four close friends – lead singer Casey Marks, guitarists Jonny Freeman and Laura Brent, and drummer Matt Nielson – found solace in the power of music amidst the hustle and bustle of daily life. The band began as a fun way for the friends to unwind, but after their impromptu jam sessions at local bars started drawing crowds, they realized they might have something special.

Yearly Friend, in a nod to their enduring friendship, committed to creating music that encapsulates their shared experiences and reflects the ups and downs of life. They believe in the power of music to connect, to heal, and to inspire, and their hope is to share that with their listeners.
