Backstory:
Bubbly Rape is the brainchild of childhood friends, Steven and Nathan, who grew up in the small town of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The friends bonded over their shared love for music, spending countless hours in Steven’s parents’ garage fine-tuning their craft. What began as a two-person garage band quickly evolved into a five-piece ensemble when they were joined by drummer Dave, bassist Mike, and keyboardist Sam. The provocative name ‘Bubbly Rape’ was chosen to symbolize the unexpected twists and turns life throws at us, and the band’s music reflects the highs and lows of these experiences.
Their music journey began after winning a local talent competition, which led them to the recording studio for their debut album. They’ve since toured around the country, sharing their music with the world and amassing a devoted fan base. The band continues to evolve, constantly experimenting with new sounds while staying true to their roots.
