Knobby Flag

Backstory:

Knobby Flag formed in the gritty backstreets of Nashville, Tennessee, in 2007. The band was initially composed of the dynamic duo, Chad Turner and Darren McCullogh. The two friends shared a single room apartment, where they would jam out on their second-hand instruments, creating a fusion of country, blues, and punk. They often played in dive bars and street corners, surviving on tips and the love for their music. Their big break came when music producer, Ronnie Hill, heard them perform at a local music festival. Hill recognized their unique sound and raw talent, and he offered them a record deal, prompting the birth of Knobby Flag.

Genre:

Knobby Flag’s music can be best described as a blend of Country Punk, a unique fusion of traditional country styles with the energy and speed of punk.

(Verse 1)
E A D A
Rusty chains on the old barn door,

We got the stars above,

And the mud beneath our feet.

Life don’t get no sweet.

E A D A
Break of dawn, we’re on the run,

Ain’t no rest under the burning sun.

Tough as nails, with hearts so pure,
E A D A
This is life, country hardcore.

With the moon as our light,

And the road as our seat.

Rusty Chains and Wild Horses,
G D A E
Yeah, we got the beat.
