Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
[Am] Walking down on [C] empty streets, [G] shadows dancing at my feet,
[Dm] Lost in thoughts, [Am] memories bittersweet…

[Am] Nothing left but [C] broken dreams, [G] like silent screams, unseen,
[Dm] In the darkness, [Am] I’m the unseen…

(Chorus)
[F] Strings of sorrow, [C] play for me,
[G] Sing of tomorrow, [Am] make me believe…
[F] In the echoes of the [C] past, find release,
[Dm] Let the [E] music set us free…

(Verse 2)
[Am] Underneath the [C] city lights, [G] battles fought, silent fights,
[Dm] Chasing shadows, [Am] in the cold night…

[Dm] Amidst the noise, [Am] there’s a silent sound…

(Chorus)
[F] Strings of sorrow, [C] play for me,
[G] Sing of tomorrow, [Am] make me believe…
[F] In the echoes of the [C] past, find release,
[Dm] Let the [E] music set us free…

Fan Testimonial:

“My name is Jenny Martinez, I’m Thankful Offence’s biggest fan. The first time I heard them play at an open-mic night in 2014, I knew they were special. Their music speaks to me, it’s like they know exactly how I’m feeling and have put my emotions into words. Strings of Sorrow, in particular, is a song that’s helped me through some tough times. Despite the melancholy tone, it sparks a sense of hope in me like no other song does. The raw emotion in their music is what sets them apart for me. I can’t wait to see what else they have in store.”
