Backstory:

Other Guardian was formed in the chaotic heart of New York City in 2011. Driven together by a shared love for music and a desire to create something unique, the band’s four members, Ethan Kelly (lead vocals, guitar), Rebecca Miller (bass, backing vocals), Justin Davis (drums), and Melanie Jones (keyboard, backing vocals) started their journey. Initially, they played in small venues, creating a distinct sound, which was inspired by the noise of a bustling city combined with their own personal triumphs and tragedies.

Success didn’t come overnight for Other Guardian. They spent countless hours rehearsing, writing, and performing at local venues. Their big break came in 2013 when a talent scout from a record label happened to be in the audience at one of their shows. Impressed with their unique sound and raw energy, he offered them a record deal. From that point forward, they’ve been able to bring their music to a wider audience, but they haven’t forgotten their roots and the journey that got them there.
