Backstory:
Shady Temple was born on the streets of New Orleans, Louisiana, where the melting pot of cultures and music genres inspired a group of four free-spirited friends – Jace, a soulful singer with a guitar; Levi, a bassist with a jazz background; Amy, a drummer with roots in rock; and Serena, a violinist with a penchant for blues. They all had one thing in common – a deep-seated love for music that told stories. One night after a long jam session in Jace’s decrepit garage, they decided to form a band, dubbed ‘Shady Temple’. The name was a reflection of their own shady pasts and the music being their sanctuary.
The band’s journey was a bumpy road marked by struggles and laughter, each experience shaping their sound and music philosophy. Their music was their shared diary, a chronicle of their lives, loves, and losses. Over time, Shady Temple charmed the music scene with their unique blend of genres and raw lyrics, resonating with the masses and critics alike.

Title:
“Echoes of the Rain”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse)
Em
Under the pale moonlight, I’m in the shadows again,
C
Lost in the echoes of the rain.
G
The city never sleeps, and neither does my pain,
D
Running wild like a runaway train.
(Chorus)
Em
In every drop falling, I hear your name,
C
Trapped in the echoes of the rain.
G
Your love was a melody, now it’s a haunting refrain,
D
Echoing in the void you left in your wake.
(Verse)
Em
The night is a canvas painted in shades of gray,
C
Washed by the echoes of the rain.
G
My guitar weeps your absence, playing our lost serenade,
D
Finding solace in the sweet symphony of pain.
(Chorus)
Em
In every storm passing, I feel your game,
C
Dancing with the echoes of the rain.
G
Our love is a ghost, a memory retained,
D
Echoing in the rhythm of the falling rain.
Band’s Favorite Fan:
Our favorite fan is Rosemary Hughes. Rosemary has been with us from the very beginning. She was there at our first gig in a dingy bar, cheering us on. Rosemary says, “Shady Temple is my favorite band because their music speaks to me. It’s raw, honest, and beautiful. The stories in their songs are a reflection of our lives. It’s like they’ve put my feelings, my experiences into lyrics. And that’s what makes them so special. They turn our ordinary lives into extraordinary songs.”
