Backstory:
Kind Dance came together in the bustling music scene of Austin, Texas in 2011. The band members, originally friends from school, found themselves reunited in Austin after college, each pursuing their own musical aspirations. Among the sounds of jazz, rock, and country, they recognized the need to create something fresh, something accessible yet avant-garde. After an impromptu jam session in a garage, Kind Dance was born, a collaboration that began as a fun experiment but eventually became a full-fledged project. Their shared love of music and dance, as well as their unwavering friendship, is what keeps the band together, inspiring their unique sound.
