Backstory:
Dazzling Jar formed in the small coastal town of Brixham, England in the late 90s. The original members – Henry ‘Hank’ Mason, Peter ‘Pip’ Summers, Mitchell ‘Mitch’ Daniels, and the enigmatic Josie – were childhood friends who shared a love for music and the sea. They started their journey playing in local pubs and at sea-side festivals, their unique sound resonating with the local community and beyond.
The band’s name, Dazzling Jar, is a nod to their maritime roots. The ‘Jar’ refers to a jar of sea glass that the group has collected over the years from Brixham’s beaches- each piece a dazzling array of colors, textures, and stories mirroring their eclectic music.

Title:
“Seaglass Symphony”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Am
Down by the sea, beneath the old mariner’s sky,
E
We’d collect pieces of glass, let dreams fly so high.
Am
In a jar, we kept them, our little treasure trove,
E
Each piece shining like a star, in our hearts wove.
(Chorus)
C G Am
Oh, those were the days,
E F C G
Dazzling in our Seaglass Symphony.
C G Am
Lost in the haze,
E F C G
Sailing on our shared memory.
(Verse 2)
Am
Now we sing, we play, under the spotlight’s glow,
E
Each note, a seaglass piece, in the audience, we throw.
Am
In their hearts, we hope, our music finds a home,
E
Just like each glass in our jar, in their souls, we roam.
(Chorus)
C G Am
Oh, those are the nights,
E F C G
Dazzling in our Seaglass Symphony.
C G Am
Caught in the lights,
E F C G
Sailing on our shared legacy.

Testimonial:
“Dazzling Jar has been my favorite band since I first heard them at Brixham’s annual Galmpton Festival in 2002. Their music is like the sea – sometimes calm and serene, sometimes stormy and wild but always beautiful and inspiring. And their song, ‘Seaglass Symphony’, just resonates so deeply with me. It’s like they’ve put my love for the sea and this town into a song. It’s authentic, it’s real; it’s Dazzling Jar!”
