Backstory:
Shocking Analysis was formed in the sleepy coastal town of Newbury, Massachusetts in 2006. Lifelong friends, Mason Rockwell (lead vocals, guitar), Jesse Faraday (drummer), and twins Aaron and Alex Riddle (bass and keyboard respectively), decided to start a band in their senior year of high school as a way to express their shared love for music and to escape the monotony of small-town life. What began as casual jam sessions in Mason’s garage soon grew into a full-fledged passion, with the boys spending every spare moment writing music and perfecting their sound. They named their band ‘Shocking Analysis’, a playful nod to Jesse’s physics major at the local community college, and a testament to their aim to create music that was as analytical as it was electrifying.
