Backstory:

Queasy State arose out of the bustling, eclectic music scene of Austin, Texas in 2011. Childhood friends, vocalist Leo Walker, guitarist Bryant Jones, and drummer Simon Coates, discovered their shared love for music while attending high school. However, it wasn’t until they met bassist, Lisa Mills, a Kansas native who moved to Texas for her studies, that Queasy State truly found its rhythm. Incorporating their diverse musical influences, the band practices in Walker’s garage, gradually developing their distinct sound, a fusion of rock, folk, and ambient soundscapes, that quickly captured the attention of the local music scene.

Following a series of successful local gigs, Queasy State was signed by indie label, Moonlight Records. Their debut album, “Beneath the Weeping Willow”, received critical acclaim and allowed the band to tour across the country. Their humble beginnings, raw talent, and genuine passion for music have made Queasy State one of the most promising bands in the American music scene.
