Backstory:
Untrue Company was born in the heart of London, England, in the summer of 2012, when childhood friends, vocalist and guitarist Aidan O’Reilly and drummer Kieran Baxter, discovered a shared passion for music that transcended their mundane daily routines. After years of jam sessions in their basement, they decided to share their sound with the world. Joining forces with vivacious bassist, Mia Davis, and talented keyboardist, Leo Thompson, they formed the Untrue Company, a band name reflecting their shared desire to challenge the norms and standards set by society, a result of their shared disillusionment with the corporate world.

Title:
“Dancing on the Edge”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
[G] Dancing on the edge, [Em] beneath the city lights,
[C] We’re chasing shadows, [D] and those neon nights,
[G] No promises to break, [Em] just dreams to chase,
[C] In this urban jungle, [D] we’ve found our place.
(Chorus)
[G] We are the Untrue Company, [D] living in a world of make-believe,
[Em] Fearlessly, we dance with the night, [C] under the moonlight,
[G] We’re the poets of the city, [D] singing songs of love and pity,
[Em] Lost in the music, lost in the light, [C] we’re dancing on the edge tonight.
(Verse 2)
[G] The skyline is our canvas, [Em] the stars our delight,
[C] We’re painting our dreams, [D] in the hush of the night,
[G] The city’s heartbeat syncs with ours, [Em] as we dance away the hours,
[C] In this urban symphony, [D] we’ve found our powers.
Fan’s Testimonial:
Our favorite fan is a lively woman named Lorraine. Lorraine, a librarian by profession, says, “Untrue Company is my favorite because their music resonates with me. It’s as if they’ve read my thoughts and feelings and turned them into melodies. Each song is an escape, a journey to a world where dreams come alive, and I am free. They make the ordinary extraordinary, and that’s why I love them!”
