Backstory:
Knowledgeable Site was formed in 2012 in the heart of San Francisco, California. Originally, the band consisted of four college friends: Lance Halliday (vocals), Tyler Stanford (guitar), Jake Morrison (bass), and Ivan Perez (drums). Each of them had a deep admiration for music and a thirst for new knowledge which inspired them for their unique music journey. All the band members were computer science students and they connected their passion for technology with music, creating a unique blend that was a shout out to their geeky sides.
As years passed, Knowledgeable Site gained popularity mostly within the tech community. Their intellectual lyrics combined with catchy melodies fascinated their audience. However, they didn’t limit themselves to just tech enthusiasts, their music touched on universal themes like love, friendship, and human emotions, making them relatable to a wider audience.

Band’s favorite fan:
Our favorite fan is George Keene. He’s a software engineer from Los Angeles who’s been following us since our first show at a small club in San Francisco. Here’s what he has to say:
“Knowledgeable Site is more than a band to me. As a software engineer, I can relate to their lyrics on multiple levels. They combine music and technology in a way that I haven’t seen before. Their song ‘Binary Heartbeat’ really struck a chord with me. It’s an anthem for anyone who’s ever found love in the digital age. They are my favorite band not just because they make great music, but because they make music that speaks to people like me.”
