Backstory:
Upbeat Milk was born in the vibrant heart of Austin, Texas, during the summer of 2009. The group was an eclectic gathering of four music-obsessed college students: Jamie, the charismatic frontman, was studying music technology, while Olivia, the band’s drummer, was deep into her environmental science degree. On bass was Ethan, a fine arts major, and rounding out the group was Lily, a classical guitar major, on lead guitar. They met during a campus jam session and instantly clicked, recognizing a shared passion for music that transcended boundaries and genres. They started playing together in their spare time, and soon their distinctive sound began to evolve.

After years of practice, basement gigs, and word-of-mouth promotion, the group released their debut album in 2016.
