Rubbery Climate

Backstory:
Rubbery Climate formed in the heart of the bustling New York City underground music scene in 2010. The band members, all students at NYU, came together through a mutual love for experimental sounds and a desire to push the boundaries of conventional music. The founder and lead vocalist, Jake, discovered his unique talent for creating ethereal soundscapes with his guitar while studying music theory. Sarah, a talented cellist, and Mike, an incredible drummer, joined him, creating a symphony of sounds that defy categorization.

The band spent their initial years honing their craft and creating a distinctive musical style that combined the energy of punk, the complexity of progressive rock, and the raw emotion of indie. Their first gig in a local pub quickly led to a cult following, and soon Rubbery Climate became a regular name in the underground NYC music scene. Their music, characterized by its innovative use of traditional instruments, quickly gained traction and paved the way for their debut album.

Title:
“Elastic Echoes”

Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
Am – C – G – D
In the hazy glow of neon lights, (Am)
We spin dreams out of sound and sight. (C)
Underground echoes, pulsing beats, (G)
In our hearts, the rhythm repeats. (D)

(Chorus)
F – C – G – Am
Elastic echoes, rubbery days, (F)
We craft our music in myriad ways. (C)
In the climate of sound, we find our home, (G)
In melody’s sea, our thoughts roam. (Am)

(Verse 2)
Am – C – G – D
Strings vibrate with stories untold, (Am)
Ancient secrets in rhythm unfold. (C)
Through the sonic tides, we ride, (G)
On the wave of sound, we collide. (D)

(Chorus)
F – C – G – Am
Elastic echoes, rubbery days, (F)
In the resonance, we lose our haze. (C)
In the climate of sound, we find our truth, (G)
In harmony’s arms, we reclaim our youth. (Am)
