Backstory:
Formed in the eclectic heart of Brooklyn, New York in 2012, Guilty Delay is comprised of childhood friends, Zach Thompson (lead vocals, guitar), Leo Morrison (bass, backing vocals), and twin siblings Erin (keyboards, backing vocals) and Ethan Conner (drums). The four of them came together with a shared passion for music and a desire to explore their creative boundaries. They crafted their unique sound out of countless jam sessions in dimly-lit basements and eventually broke through into the bustling local music scene. Guilty Delay’s journey has been one of perseverance, passion, and above all, a love for music that transcends the ordinary.

Title:
“Clocks in Reverse”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Am, G, D, Am
When the world’s spinning fast, and we’re moving slow,
Can we turn the clocks in reverse, where will we go?
Shadows of yesterday, creeping into the light,
The silent whispers of dreams, lost in the night.
(Chorus)
G, D, Am, C
Clocks in reverse, can we heal this curse,
Erase the pain, of a universe,
In every verse, there’s a hidden truth,
Clocks in reverse, find the fountain of youth.
(Verse 2)
Am, G, D, Am
Mysteries untold, secrets in our soul,
Can we rewind the tales, make the broken whole?
Chasing the daylight, beneath the moon’s soft glow,
Through the labyrinth of time, where do we go?
(Chorus)
G, D, Am, C
Clocks in reverse, can we break this verse,
Unfurl the sails, of a universe,
In every line, there’s a path to choose,
Clocks in reverse, there’s no time to lose.
(Outro)
Am, G, D, Am
As the seconds unwind, beneath the cosmic spray,
In the clocks in reverse, we’ll find our way.
