Backstory:
Cluttered Probability was born out of a shared dorm room at the California Institute of Technology. The band consists of four members: Erik (lead vocals/guitar), Sam (bass), Liam (drums), and Tess (keyboard). They were all students pursuing degrees in theoretical physics but found a shared passion in music. It didn’t take long for them to transform their dormitory from a study room into a makeshift music studio.
They started out playing at college events and local bars. Their unique approach to music, blending in elements of science and maths, quickly gained attention. The band’s name, ‘Cluttered Probability’, was a nod to their scientific backgrounds and an inside joke, referring to the often chaotic and unpredictable nature of both quantum physics and the music industry.

“Quantum Love Paradox”
Full Song Lyrics:
[Intro: C Am F G]
Verse 1:
(C) She’s got the (Am) eyes of a (F) neutron star, (G)
(C) Her love is (Am) like a (F) quantum surprise. (G)
(C) I’m lost in the (Am) multiverse (F) of her heart, (G)
(C) In her (Am) gravitational (F) pull, I (G) rise.
Chorus:
(C) She’s my (Am) quantum love (F) paradox, (G)
(C) A mystery (Am) I’ll never (F) untie. (G)
(C) On the strings of (Am) her love, I’m (F) interlocked. (G)
(C) Can’t (Am) equate her (F) love, oh (G) I’ve tried.
Verse 2:
(C) She’s a constant (Am) in my (F) changing world, (G)
(C) Her love’s the (Am) frequency, (F) mine’s the wave. (G)
(C) In this cosmic (Am) dance, we’re (F) swirled, (G)
(C) To the rhythm (Am) of the love (F) we (G) gave.
Repeat Chorus
Bridge:
(C) Amidst the (Am) noise, (F) she’s my silent (G) theory,
(C) In the equation (Am) of my life, (F) she’s my constant, (G) not a variable.
(C) She’s the (Am) proof to my (F) love’s theorem, (G)
(C) With her, (Am) love feels (F) so tangible. (G)
Repeat Chorus
Outro:
(C) She’s my quantum love (Am) paradox, (F)
(C) The equation (Am) of my heart, (F) undefined. (G)
(C) With her, (Am) I’ve found my (F) home among the (G) stars,
(C) She’s the (Am) universe’s (F) most beautiful (G) find.

Testimonial:
“I’ve been a fan of Cluttered Probability since their very first gig at Caltech. To see them grow from playing college events to now selling out shows is incredible. Their unique blend of math and science makes their music a thought-provoking experience. Every song is like a complex equation waiting to be solved. I’m a physicist myself, so their music really resonates with me. I’ve even used one of their songs, ‘Quantum Love Paradox’, as a teaching tool in my classes. Their music is a testament to the fact that science isn’t just about equations and theories; it’s a beautiful and emotional journey. I can’t wait to see what Cluttered Probability does next!”
