Backstory:
Chief Estimate is an indie rock band that’s been making waves in the music scene since they first sprouted up in the lively streets of Brooklyn, New York in 2011. The four members, vocalist John “JT” Thompson, guitarist Charlie “Chaz” Roberts, bassist Mike “Mickey” Lawton, and drummer Sammy “Stix” Jones, met while working at a local record store, where they discovered their shared love for rock, folk, and blues. After hours, they would jam together, blending their diverse influences into a unique sound that would eventually become ‘Chief Estimate’. Their music is a result of their combined experiences, the city’s hustle, and their grungy surroundings, which they have often referred to as their fifth band member.
