Backstory:

Meek Chance was formed in the small town of Hazelwood, Indiana. Best friends since childhood, lead singer/guitarist Lucas Chambers and drummer Benny Stevens had been jamming in their basements since they could hold their respective instruments. They were later joined by Jessa Fox on bass and her brother, Tony, on keyboards, turning their casual jam sessions into a full-fledged band. The foursome coined the name ‘Meek Chance,’ a subtle nod to their humble roots and the seemingly bleak odds of making it big in the music world from a small town. Despite the odds, their unique sound and raw talent garnered attention, and they began playing local gigs and eventually caught the attention of a music producer who helped elevate their career.
