Green Instrument

Backstory:

Green Instrument was born out of a passion for creating new and innovative sounds. The four members – Ben, Jane, Miles, and Zoe – were all part of different bands playing in the local scene of their hometown, Austin, Texas. After a joint charity gig, they discovered a shared love for music that was experimental, yet rooted in tradition. After a few jam sessions, they realized that their combined talents created a unique sound unlike anything else in the vibrant Austin music scene. Green Instrument was thus born, and they’ve been playing together ever since, turning heads and converting skeptics into fans at every gig.

Title:

“Walking on Glass”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1: E-B-C#m-A)
Walking on Glass, in the darkest part of the night,
I can’t see past, the shadows blocking my sight,
Smoky illusions, and the echoes of yesterday,
But I’ll keep moving, through this labyrinth of dismay.

(Chorus: A-E-B)
I’m walking on glass, but I won’t let it break me,
I’m walking on glass, no illusions can shake me,
Walking on glass, with courage as my guide,
I will pass through the smoky tide.

(Verse 2: E-B-C#m-A)
The labyrinth twists and turns, winding every way,
The glass beneath my feet, reflects a different day,
Your voice in the distance, is my beacon in the night,
I’ll keep walking on glass, till I reach the light.

(Chorus: A-E-B)
Walking on glass, but I won’t let it break me,
Walking on glass, no illusions will make me,
Walking on glass, with courage as my guide,
I’ll pass through this smoky tide.
