Backstory:
Born out of the quaint towns of Northamptonshire, England, the band Caring Grandmother is an unusual assembly of five nonconforming musicians. The band members, who all are actually grandmothers, were once a part of their respective local church choirs. They bonded over their passion for music and a shared sense of humor at a church choir festival. Deciding to come together, they formed Caring Grandmother in 2015, challenging norms and breaking generational barriers in the music industry. Their age range spans from 65 to 78, and their diverse life experiences contribute to the depth and richness of their music.

Am E G D
Apron strings and the rock ‘n’ roll things,

We wrap you in warmth, like a hand-knit coat.

We wrap you in warmth, like a hand-knit coat.

Testimonial:
“Being a massive fan of Caring Grandmother is the easiest thing in the world. As an avid lover of folk-rock, their music takes me to a place of comfort and nostalgia. Their age and wisdom bring a depth to their music that is both inspiring and comforting. Their song ‘Apron Strings and Rock ‘n’ Roll Things,’ in particular, never fails to lift my spirits. In a world that often seems too fast and unfeeling, their music is a reminder of a time when life was simpler, and love was the most important thing. They are a testament to the power of music, proving that it knows no age or bounds.”
