Shrill Innovation

Backstory:
Shrill Innovation was formed in the bustling heart of Los Angeles in 2013 when four music enthusiasts crossed paths in a local dive bar. They were joined by the moody yet mesmerizing lead guitarist, Nick Harper, who brought a blend of blues and rock to the mix. Together, they created Shrill Innovation, a band that became known for their unique and mesmerizing music.

They started playing in local bars and music festivals around Los Angeles, slowly gaining a cult following. Their first major breakthrough occurred in 2015 when their self-titled album, “Shrill Innovation”, charted at number 3 on the Billboard 200. Title:
“Echoes of Yesterday”

Full Song Lyrics:

Verse 1:
[Am] Wandering the [G] streets of [F] memory lane,
[Am] Chasing shadows, [G] basking in the [F] rain.
[Am] Pictures in my mind, [G] they never [F] fade,
[Am] Trapped in the echoes [G] of yester[F]day.

Chorus:
[C] Echoes of yester[G]day, [F] they linger on,
[C] Haunt me in the [G] twilight, serenade at [F] dawn.
[C] Can’t escape the [G] past, nor [F] the present sway,
[C] Lost in the echoes [G] of yester[F]day.

Verse 2:
[Am] Faces I once [G] knew, smiles that [F] used to shine,
[Am] Now they’re just traces, [G] lost in the [F] sands of time.
[Am] Laughter and tears, [G] love’s old [F] play,
[Am] All part of the echoes [G] of yester[F]day.

(Repeat Chorus)

Bridge:
[Dm] Echoes grow louder, [E] the past won’t recede,
[F] I’m a ship adrift, [G] in time’s endless sea.
[Dm] With each passing moment, [E] more echoes are made,
[F] I’m a prisoner to [G] yester[F]day.

(Repeat Chorus)
