Thirsty Water

Backstory:
Set against the backdrop of a small coastal town in California, Thirsty Water was born. Four friends, deeply in love with the ocean and surfing, found their shared passion for music. They started as a garage band, spending countless nights on the beach with their instruments and bonfire, creating soundtracks to their exhilarating surfing experiences. With lead vocalist and guitarist Jimmy ‘Ocean’ Howe, drummer Sandy ‘Tide’ Mitchell, bassist Eric ‘Swell’ Nelson, and keyboardist Mike ‘Coral’ Foster, the band was complete. Thirsty Water’s unique sound quickly caught the attention of local surfers and beach-goers, and from there, it reverberated across county lines, state borders, and eventually, the globe.

Genre:
Thirsty Water’s music is a refreshing blend of Indie Rock and Surf Music, with a touch of Folk and Psychedelic Rock. Their tracks perfectly encapsulate the spirit of the sea, the freedom of surfing, and the ethereal beauty of coastal living.

Thirsty Water’s Favorite Fan:
Our favorite fan is Lisa ‘Seashell’ Johnson. Lisa has been with the band since our humble beginnings. She was there at our first beach bonfire gig, shouting lyrics and dancing barefoot in the sand. Her support and enthusiasm have never wavered.
