Backstory:
Forthright Paragraph was formed in 2020 in the back lanes of Brooklyn, New York. The three-piece band, featuring Leon on vocals, Charlie on guitar and synth, and Rebecca on drums, all came from different musical backgrounds but found a unique combination that resonated. Leon was a seasoned folk singer, while Charlie had a history with indie pop and Rebecca with jazz. They met in a local coffee shop, each one performing solo on different nights. After a impromptu jam session, they found a common ground in the raw, emotive use of lyrics and diverse musical styles. They decided to form a band, and the Forthright Paragraph was born.
